Haha; it's funny because they're millennials who crave the stimuli of the modern age media and therefore lack an attention span because they're always looking down at their iPhones. This is HILARIOUS; I APPLAUD YOU FOR YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR, SIR. I WOULD NEVER HAVE CONCEIVED OF THIS.

Come on, man; if you really want people vomiting over a vision of the Eds in the new generation, show Kevin texting them "KYS, dorks" or Ed becoming a Keemstar fan; every baby boomer makes the "smart phones are making kids dumb" joke and this didn't take it any further than that. I will give you that this is a good visual representation of what it would likely entail, however, because Ed, Edd, N' Eddy was actually a really frame-by-frame heavy show and this is a very economic type of animation; cartoons that have a long run typically experience some sort of animation quality regression, so I can definitely imagine it looking akin to this. I'm not insinuating that you're bad animators, but if you watch Ed Edd N' Eddy's old episodes, you'll notice a polarity and I opine that works with the joke here.
